Sunshine in Winter

You know blogger can go fuck itself these days, half the time i can see the music i post and half the time i can't and it seems to flip back and forth at random but i'm not here to bitch, no, in fact i should just shut up now, hell all i have to do is open a new window and listen to the song as i type away and i know it's hard to believe but sometimes i'm a colossal fuck-up, yeah i know you don't believe it but i am, but hell i'm trying you know and for awhile today me and the I-mac were butting heads so hard i thought we'd knock each other out and then the little shit just walks over and hugs me and says "i was just mad, i love you dad" and hell what am i supposed to do then, you see i used to sing Golden by My Morning Jacket to him all the time when i rocked his tiny ass to bed back in the day and after things settled down a bit i was listening to this little tune while i stood in the doorway and watched the boyos playing together and laughing and smiling and their old man could feel the goosebumps as he stood and watched and listened, cuz he knows he got a new life when they came rolling along and though it ain't always easy he sure is fucking better for it... but enough of my bullshit, enjoy this little piece of brilliance.

Seeing as how the original video i posted from Jim James on Fallon was removed i'll post the song instead, though i highly recommend checking out the live version cuz it was phenomenal...

A guy named Spalding Gray wrote of these rare "perfect moments" when everything comes together to create a single, perfect memory never to be forgotten. They don't happen often. A few times in your life, if you're lucky.
