Tis the Season- Day 22-The Fall - Dead Beat Descendent
It seems all my heroes are from Manchester: Curtis, Morrissey and this man, Mark E. Smith, the man behind the Fall, tonight i give you the gift that keeps on giving cuz the Fall have something in the neighborhood of 472 albums, they were John Peel's favorite band, they are one of my all time favorites and some 34 plus years later they are still cranking out great songs. Mark E. Smith is a madman, a genius, a dictator, a character, an asshole, an quite possibly the greatest front man to ever live, which is a mighty bold statement but the man has a face for radio and though i thought about posting him reading the football results i posted this, one of my favorite songs by the band, though i have many favorite songs by this band and in honor of this post i am now going to shuffle off down the pub and have a pint or two with the Kid and play some Fall on the jukebox so the hipster kids can bob their disheveled hair and dream about being cool.

What kind of joint has The Fall in their jukebox? Are you serious? Please post directions.
472 albums? that's phenomenal...
UB- Gooskis on Brereton St., Polish Hill, Pittsburgh, quite possibly the worlds greatest jukebox and not some shit internet one, it's old school and last night alone i played: The Fall, Motorhead, Happy Mondays, Destroyer, The Replacements, The Stooges, Black Flag, VU and a couple i can't seem to remember, i love this bar, one of the last places on earth you can have a drink AND a cigarette if you wish, the food is suprisingly good and it's cheap, a glorious dive.
Daisy- give or take a few.
My question was the same as The Unbearable Banishment's! Must move to Pittsburgh.
Sybil- the Burgh isn't all that bad and it's sometimes called the little NYC with it's distinct neighborhoods and the like, it's got this certain working class backwoods charm and yet is pretty hip culturally.
