Hopeful

After 8 years of listening to the cowboy and his evil v.p. preach division and hate and the mantra "your either with us or against us" even to their own people, it was exhilarating to hear a man speak about coming together instead of breaking apart, who knows if he can actually pull it off but at least King Moron and his crew are in the twilight and for the first time in 8 years i feel a bit better about this cesspool... of course it is still a nation of fuck ups and christian conservatives and we still love our guns (two shots were fired outside my house tonight i think in celebration) but we can always hope.

Even better was the spontaneous celebration/protest that took place outside the White House after Obama was declared the winner, a mass of students chanting, singing, holding signs, rejoicing at the regime change and heckling the sorry bastard holed up inside, who says the kids aren't alright?
